Here’s a video that shows how to easily use and control the houseboat in the forest. (v0.40)
Firstly you have to enter the houseboat, you are doing so by just jumpong onboard.
While you are on the houseboat, press E to take control of it.
You use the Left Mouse Button to go Forward and the Right Mouse Button to go Backwards.
While moving you press “A” key to move the houseboat left and “D” key to move the houseboat to your right.
When you are done using the houseboat, you click “E” key to leave it.
