After years of rumors, speculation, and endless hope from fans, Guild Wars 3 has officially been revealed at Summer Game Fest. The announcement trailer showcases the stunning map of Orr, packed with breathtaking landscapes, interesting creatures, and a fresh take on the MMORPG experience.
Players will journey to Orr, a vast frontier overflowing with magic, mystery, and ancient spirits. You’ll step into the role of a Vaelwarden, a guardian tasked with protecting both the land and the spirits that inhabit it.
ArenaNet is promising a fresh take on MMORPG gameplay, combining action-packed combat with deep character progression and movement-focused mechanics that make exploration and combat feel more connected than ever.
For the first time in franchise history, Guild Wars is also coming to consoles, launching on PC, Steam, and PlayStation 5. The first beta is currently planned for Fall 2027.
