Guild Wars 2’s newest major update, “The Only Way,” is now live as part of the Visions of Eternity expansion! Players return to Castora to continue the story, tracking the Inquest deeper into dangerous territory while uncovering more secrets tied to ancient seer technology.
The update introduces Eternity’s Garden, a huge new jungle map packed with hidden ruins, powerful enemies, dynamic events, and massive meta encounters. The area mixes beautiful scenery with dangerous exploration, giving players plenty of reasons to roam every corner of the map.
Alongside the new zone, the update adds:

⚔️ New relics, rewards, and Masteries
💎 Two new legendary accessories
🎨 Expanded Fashion Templates for mounts, skiffs, gliders, fishing rods, and more

The patch also continues building on Visions of Eternity’s focus on exploration, customization, and large-scale open-world content. Early player reactions have been especially positive toward the map design, atmosphere, and the direction of the story so far.
